Getting my passport, getting off work, some one to take care of my dog while I was gone, and most of all the money needed. I had none for a trip to the Dominican Republic. I hestitantly said yes I would like to go, but I would have to deal with all these things. Then I prayed, I asked the Lord to help me with these things. The first thing I did was apply for a passport. I had one but it had expired and I could not find it so I had to start from scratch. Receiving it is another story in itself. I was able to get the time off work with no problems. Along came someone and offered to take my dog. Then I was given the information on how to raise the money I needed to go. Because of God's working in all these things I was able to go to the D. R. and tell over 200 children and adults about Jesus. The seeds were planted and God will make it possible for them to grow. I was blessed by so much. This is just the tip of the ice berg when it comes to the trip. It proves that when the Lord wants you to do something He provides the way. Cecil

He has given me opportunities for growth in this area, such as the two mission trips I have been a part of with Project Child in the Dominican Republic.
