Prayer Requests

For Tania, age 8

Pray that adoption procedure for Tania for our  family (The Valladares) goes well and quickly.  Pray for Tania's surgery in April 08 to remove a mass on one of her kidneys.  God has already healed her body of other serious conditions and we pray that Tania be healed of this too, if it's His will.

Pray for the speedy recovery of Elisa and Lunier, two of our children who underwent surgeries on their legs this month to improve their quality of life and possibly be able to walk in the future.

For the Orphans
  
Claim each one of our children for God. That the children, in spite of their disabilities, would be able to sense love; that they would have proper food, medical attention, clothing and stimulation. 

For doctors in the Dominican Republic to volunteer their time
  
Pray for doctors in Santo Domingo to come forth and dedicate volunteer time regularly to watch and care for the children. 

  
For the Caregivers
  
Pray for their health and families. Pray for continued compassion and wisdom.

  
For the Construction Fund
  
Pray that we will be able to raise the necessary funds for the continued construction of the Dining Room / Multi-Purpose Room  and Laundry Facility, as well as  Phase 2 of  Casa de Luz.

  
For the Government
  
Pray for wisdom to better understand and address the needs of their children; to reach out to their own in a new way that has not been done before; for new adoption laws that would be more flexible for more children to find loving homes.
  
For the People
  
Pray that they would receive their own special children without prejudices; that they would be able to fight the strongholds of poverty and spiritual oppression.
  
For the Volunteers
  
Pray that more volunteers would come forth and become part of our vision. Pray for the Board members and their families.
  
For Project Child

Pray for wisdom for all persons involved in PC (founders, board members, caregivers, volunteers) and their families; pray God’s protection at all times against evil forces wanting to stop God’s work. 

  
For Donations
  
Financial gifts to pay for the salaries of the caregivers, physician, nurses, cook, maintenance person, physical therapist and for new funding sources so that we can expand our personnel in order to be receive more children in Casa de Luz.

For Handicap-Accesible Vehicle
  
To transport the children to and from their homes as we prepare to offer daycare services to the special needs population of children. Unification of families is very important to us
